  • Fadi Dikran

    PYP COORDINATOR

Greetings, my name is Fadi Dikran. Since 2011, I've been deeply involved in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, dedicating over three years to the role of a coordinator. In my current capacity at Eastwood International Erbil, I continue to uphold the standards and values of the IB curriculum as a committed coordinator.

My educational philosophy is closely aligned with the ethos of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), which I firmly believe lays the foundation for nurturing active, compassionate, and lifelong learners. The PYP's holistic curriculum doesn't just address academic needs—it also prioritizes the growth of students in social, emotional, physical, and moral dimensions, encapsulating my view of education as an all-encompassing journey that shapes respectful individuals ready to engage with the global community.

The aspect of PYP that resonates with me the most is its comprehensive approach to child development. This curriculum transcends traditional learning paradigms by fostering not only intellectual but also personal growth. It ensures that our students emerge as multifaceted personalities, equipped to thrive in and contribute positively to our ever-evolving world.
